EGOCENTRISM OR SELF LOVE ?

Okay so we both like attention, we both used to gawk at men from head to toe, and yes even, when we are walking on the streets we used to act like someone out there is watching us and within a fraction of seconds that person is going to fall for us and the very next min he is
going to ask our number just for that flaunting smile.

ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION

That’s what some of us do in our teenage, we do need those eyes on us to motivate, to make
feel us better, to perceive us as we are part of it. At some point, we are so watchful towards our

behavior, appearance and so guarded towards our language. We do because our every new
social environment forced us. And yes along with “standing out in a crowd” we also need something to protect the “self” in us, which may lead to egocentrism and that is why David
Elkind discovered for us this “egocentrism”.

He perfectly understands us by saying this
egocentrism is viewed as a negative aspect. And no doubt there are people in our life who will fame you by saying “such an ego person he/she is”.

Putting yourself “first” and even thinking about for ourselves is isn’t that bad until and
unless it harms other people who are surrounded by you. I guess it is the outlook on how your
egocentrism tag is taken by you. So whenever you catch your gossip about your character
(because no one is going to vomit on your face other than your boss) just take that as a compliment. Because for that you need a spine to love yourself and also your audacity to grab that “Attention.”
